Dhigurashu Kandu is a five kilometer wide channel just north of Dhigurah and south of Dhangethi. There are many single and collections of thilas (pinnacles) that offer some of the best dive sites in the south of Ari Atoll. These include the famous Broken Rock Thila and Kudarah Thila where coral-life and fish-life is really phenomenal. The outside edges of this channel are frequently visited by whale sharks, manta rays and eagle rays. Also many types of pelagic are hunting at smaller fish especially at the outer side of the Atoll where currents are strong and the water is nutrient.
