Maamigili is one of the populated areas in the south of Ari Atoll.

There are a few 'large' islands in the south of Ari Atoll, where many locals and visitors reside. The small Holiday Island offers some of the whitest beaches, excellent restaurants and some nice resorts. Maamigili is the largest island in this region and on both sides of Ariyadhoo are two deep channels often used by boats. Other islands nearby are Bodufinolhu, Sun Island, Dhidhoo, White Sands and Dhigurah. Enjoy these brilliant paradise islands with excellent diving and some of the best dive and snorkel sites in Ari.
